I own a '92 Pro dx, '03 pro lx, and am fixing to buy a '01 pro es. Both cars have been great cars, the '92 has 180,000+ miles on it (and is still "peppy" as my father-in-law puts it) - and they are both AUTOMATIC - nothing wrong with that.

Have a 2001 ES (excellent sadan... hehe) that I just put up in the for sale section. Buying a Volvo '97 850 Turbo T5 sedan or '98 S70 T5....have a choice of about 5 different cars and don't have space for the Protege, my wife's '04 V70 Volvo and the new car too. If you live in the South, especially near Knoxville, you should come and see and drive it to appreciate it.

I was waiting to get hammered for that comment, sorry all you auto owners. You'd have to do some pretty hard work with that auto shifter to keep up with a five speed on the twisties, but I'm sure there are drivers that could do it... to me now that I opened my big mouth. No offense intended.

Funny thing. My family and I moved from Knoxville to West Virginia. What part of Knoxville do you live in?
