Is my weight wrong?

Is my weight wrong?
I have a pressing question that needs more input.
I have read that the MP3 is around 2800 lbs ( not exact weight).
Now I am looking at my registration and it says 2546 Lbs.
So I am read my door panel and it says 3100 lbs - 540 payload =
2560 lbs
I was at the track and talked with these guys and they said the same thing about the car weighting in at around 2500 lbs.
What is the real weight of the MP3?
I think the internet just posted a weight from the P5 or Protege.
