Let me get this right..... you're friend thinks the Anti-lock Brake System adds 1000 lbs. of weight to his car?

If this is the case, do me a favor..... smack him in the head and ask him if he's on crack! The ABS system might add 15 lbs. to the car, probably more like 5-10. I really hope I'm confused as to what you mean though.

actually on some hondas the ABS has several modules and multiple hard lines etc...I bet it's ABS would weigh close to 50lbs....this is one the acura's I should mention.

P5 ABS MAY weigh 20lbs and worth every pound. I have never enjoyed anothers cars brakes as much as my P5's....well my MSP's. that thing would stop on a dime and squirt out a nickle.

Personally, I dont like ABS, Im used to threshold braking and when rallying I really HATE ABS...same in snow...
all ABS does is allow you to hit things dead on, instead of sliding sideways into them...(sarcasm folks)

So, let me get this straight, your jackass friend is buying a brand new 6 and then ripping out the abs? Man, if you believe that, i have some beach side property to sell you here in San Antonio.
