Just wondering if they make the typical BOV noise?

i don't think it has a BOV installed on it...

I would assume it sounds like a stock VW 1.8T motor, you'll hear the spool up and the whistling, but definitely not bov....

from what I understand about VW's is that they dont use a BOV. it is something a little different. eclipse to have BOV(well sort of) and they just recilcuralte the extra gas/preasure back into the intake track.

These should have the silent style, most likely will also recirc back into the intake. Bummer...but I have a BOV waiting to get installed....

It's probably like the Jetta/Golf 1.8T and has a 'diverter valve'.

Technically, a BOV vents to atmosphere, while a Bypass Valve recirculates. BOV is used more as a generic term and less as an accurate description. Read more here. Bypass Valves are typically quieter, though the bigger ones are hardly silent. My metal bypass on my Flyin Miata kit is by no means quiet or subtle.

Ok guys i have been wondering the same thing bout the BOV or Bypass valve....i was just looking around online and i found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1858957307

It says it will work on any turbo car. I dont know much bout turbo systems, i have a supercharger right now. I know most of its the same stuff. If you guys could help me out on this i would really appreciate it.

Should be getting my MS Pro Spicey Orange in mid October.

Well as I've said before I've heard and seen the speed3 at an autocross. there is little to no spool sound. The car sounds like and MP3.
