This isnt exactly the right forum to post this on, jus makin an observation really, i was surfin around the detroit auto show site and saw the new Mazda Micro-X.. correct me if im wrong, but it looks awfully similar to the Mini cooper, i had a friend say the same thing to me last nite. I dont particularly like the mini cooper, as such when i saw the new micro-x, i kinda went 'blah' whats everyone elses thoughts??

I like the thing!. It looks great! It has the base Mazda3 engine, and the suspension is a bit simmple, but it looks great, and has 5 door functionality. It is more like a stylish Scion than anything else. It is supposed to go on sale this year in a couple of foreign markets, but the interesting fact was that the speedometer was shown in MPH at the auto show! I hope it goes on sale here.

it looks just like the euro-spec M2....imagine a smaller than P5 wagon....Looks awesome...too bad it's a non-performer.

I bet this car is going to be great. This is the kind of car my gf would love. She already likes the new Mini Coopers, but she also likes the whole Mazda family of cars. Now she'll be able to have the best of both worlds!! If she gets it, that means I'll so be able to drive it..... schhweet!!!

I'll ask my boss at work and see if we're going to get any of them at the dealership any time soon.

When you find out, will you be sure to let me know? Also, try to get an idea as to what the price will be? Just the base model for right now.
