Loss in gas mileage

Does anybody know what could be causing this, I always measure how much I can go when I fill up a whole tank of gas, and while I'm still getting good numbers, they seem to be going down, and it's not like my driving is getting more aggressive and I'm driving in higher revs...... Could the spark plugs be getting dirty and misfiring occasionally or what could be the cause, I got no clue......

your air filter and fuel filter can cause worse gas milage. you might want to check that.

You didn't mention what year your car is or how many miles you have on it. Carbon deposits are a common build up that reduces mileage and performance over time, especially if you make lots of short trips or drive in traffic. Get a good industrial quality carbon cleaner that includes cleaner for the fuel tank, fuel rail, and throttle body. Usually runs around $40.

Oh sorry, it's a 2001 LX 2.0 and I only have 13,000 kms on it, went in for the 1000 km and 8000km checkups where they changed the oil, and I'll have to check the oil and air filters......

damn that's a lot of things to check, better get started hehe, thanks

did you check the tire pressure? that can affect your milage greatly.
