I just got my '03 pro5 and I love it!!! But since it'll be a while before any of the Haynes manuals or anything like that is available I have 1 quesion about it. Nothing is wrong with it at all, but I have an anatomy question for you, under the spare tire well there is a black box attached to the bottom of it, what the heck is this thing? It's driving me nuts! It has all sorts of vacuum lines and canisters attached, I can't for the life of me figure it out. I don't have ABS, and it seems too far away to be emissions or fuel system related.
I could make an effort and trace the lines but it's easier to ask you guys.

JAC: I don't know what link you tried posting, but it doesn't work.

mooman: yes, it is emissions related; it is called a "Charcoal Canister". remember, your gas tank is under your rear seat, so it's not too far away from things.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
