Its christmas for my P5

This week I got an OBX adjustable short shifter (to go with my new mazdaspeed shift ****) and a mazdaspeed exhaust to go on my Protege 5. I'll post some pics when I'm done. I'm pretty excited, I've been dying to get an exhaust.

The car is also getting an oil change this week too, Mobil 1. What a lucky car.

I got the mazdaspeed exhaust on. Fits like a glove, about a 15 minute install minus jacking the car up. Old muffler looks like its worth $1.

The exhaust looks great and it sounds even better. I was worried about not getting any sound out of the muffler. Its very mellow and deep sounding, not ricey at all. I couldn't be any happier. Someday I'll have to add a header and midpipe.

I'll post some pics when I get a minute and give you all an update on the new short throw shifter when I get it.

to 'complete' the exhaust you'd need a header, midpipe, and then the pipe between the axleback and the midpipe.. it's a long piece, and I don't think it is sold individually as most people replace it when they get a full cat-back exhaust.

can't wait to see pics with the 03.5 MSP bumper on your car! I've seen a white p5 with it before (whitemp5seattle on the other board) and wow.. it looks AWESOME in white, wish they had a white MSP
