sjdmp5-

Is Michael Shumacher in the house? Ok, just checking. ABS is NOT disabled because you can stop faster without it. If anything, its not allowed in some racing series' to keep driving skills part of the competition. Just because you CAN lock up the tires without ABS doesn't mean you should. You be an idiot to do such a thing. Four wheel lock = lose of control of the car. If you don't have traction you can't steer. If you can't steer you're not in control. If you are driving a road course you're not likely to brake unless you are preparing to turn. If you lock your tires up going into a turn you're not going to make the turn.
Besides, what good is flat spotting your tires going to do? Unnecessary pit-stops don't put you on the posium.
Unless you have some Schumacher DNA in your system, ABS if used properly, will benefit you.

hehehe almost there

I just agreed to buying a Pro5 tomorrow.
He wanted a deposit... I guess he wanted to seal the deal right here.
But no way! He'sss gonna have to take my word.
It's a silver one with automatic trans, 6
disc in dash CD w/Cassette, cargo net, floormats, power moonroof w/deflector,
perimeter alarm, and wheel locks.

I decided I'm gonna live without ABS. it's okay.

He started out at 100 over invoice... but didn't say what invoice was and I didn't ask. I said after lowering the price bit by bit that 17750 is my final price no more, and he said they are being aggressive with the internet sales and he'll sell it for that price. In the end he claimed the invoice was $18047. Not bad(if that's the real invoice) i think.

I'll be taking the 2.9 on 5 years. No down payment. And how much more will be added with tax title and other fees? I think tax here is 7.725 from memory.
Oh and it has 52 miles on it.
