Exclamation I'm back

For those of you who are part of the ToProtege.com club you'll already know why I haven't posted latly, but for those of you who don't know I'll explain. On sept 6th 2003 my buddy needed to borrow my car cause his car died out so for me to get to work he lent me his Honda RC51 1000 cc superbike. He neede to borrow my car for roughly 4 days. On Friday he came by my house with a Protege 5 that didn't look like my car cause it was cleaned inside and out and had a full tank of gas. I was expecting him to drop off the car on Sunday night, so needless to say the bike was dirty, misadjusted and empty on gas. So I poliitly asked if he would give me another day to bring his motorcycle up to par with my car, which he let me do.
Saturday rolls around and bright and early at 10ish I was cleaning the bike. Because I couldn't get a hold of him then I figured I get some other chores done like get my hair cut, pay some bills and see my GF at her BBQ. Well 12:30 rolls around and I'm off to my GF's house when a GMC Saffari made a left hand turn roughly 50 feet in front of my face . Needless to say I didn't have enough time to react let alone comprehend what was just about to happen.
I later on found myself at Trillium hospital in Mississauga with two broken knees, cracked ribs, shattered teeth, a broken arm and a broken nerve which operated my wrist. The only thing not broken scratched or brusied was my right arm. Ever since then I've been recovering.
So I apologize for not answering any of your PM's or E-mails but I'm now back in action. Well sort of I blew up my engine and I'm currently fixing it up. Hopefully I'll be up and running in the next week or so.

Thanx for the welcome back...

Thanx for the welcomes. I just found out today that my Crank is ready and that it was minor damage to the crank (.25 over). Not bad considering I beat the hell out of it at Deals gap with only 2100 kms on it lol. oops was I suposed to break it in first . Ahh well these FS enginies are tough as hell from the factory. I can just imagine what the reinforced MSP engines can take. :P

BTW: if anyone has questions about removal and instalation of the Pro5 FS engine I now know evrything there is to know about it since this is the second time I'm pulling my engine.

Wow! Sounds like you went through hell....I can't believe you're even talking about your car.

Glad to see you're back.
