Got My Pro back....

Thank god. Its been about a month and a half since i last got to drive or even look at my pro. I forgot what a beauty she was. I just got her back today. She was side swiped by a taxi in N.J. going down I-95. They had to redo the whole right front and front end. They replaced the A/C condenser, the radiator, whole bunch of odd's and in's on the front end. They replaced the front bumper, right fender (the body shop, who i didn't really talk to at all, even replaced my side markers...i didn't think they would.) and my headlights. Then they replace my engine. They put a 2000 engine in it which had less than my engine did. I had 40k it had 18k (although i can't get proof of that, wish i could but its not documented on my paper work and the dealer said that they don't have anything to give me that said it has that much on it.). I don't know about you guys but to me it doesn't sound like tooo much. I mean it is alot but i didn't think it was that much. In total it cost my insurance company (really the other insurance of the taxi) $6300 to redo all that. I mean there is a few things wrong with her like when they replaced the headlights they didn't adjust the lights right (easy fix) but the worst thing is the clear coat REALLY SUX. I mean there is this one side right below my left headlight that the clearcoat started to drip off and dried. So after coat after coat it looks like an tiny little icecicle hanging there. But anyway I've missed her im glad she's back!!!!

Congrats on getting the car back. Do you have any pics of what it looks like before and after?

If you say everything started to break or rattle I would call the insurance co and tell them that there is a shady shop that fixed your car. Take it back to them make them repaint it...

Got my Pro back last Thurday, took to the dealership on Monday, and the guy working on the car scratched the fender. The car goes back in tomorrow.

yeah now that i've had my car back for a few weeks i can remember how it used to drive. And theres a few things wrong with it. A couple people told me once i get a new engine it wouldn't drive the same, but damn it i want it too. Lets see my wheels are out of alignment (or however you spell it). My A/C dosen't get that cold anymore (although it is extremely hot here). My muffler rattles like crazy and when they put the clear coat on there is a drip that dried up and its like a icycle lookin thing of clear coat on my car now. I haven't takin it back yet but i will. I don't know if they will be doing an alignment cause i got spring clamps on my car but we'll see. ( i don't wanna take them off just yet cuz its so hot. I will eventually though i don't like them much. its just they took so long to put on and they will take so long to take off...anyway)
