If you thought you had problems...

You should take a look at Club RSX's long list. Lol, Makes me MUCH better about my choice. (It was either the Pro5 or RSX Type S)

if how many people are in a forum influences your decision on buying a car .....check out a Civic forum and you are all set!

I didn't think my first post would be so aggressive, but IDX If you clicked on the link you would see that it actually pointed to the problem area of the clubrsx board. An area I spent time at while look at cars to replace my Contour. Long list of problems, not members! And I did check out the civic forum, and the focus forum, and this forum and I bought a Midnight Blue Protege5.

So another ex-Contour owner comes into the fold. I did the same thing, checked out the problem forums for different vehicles and then bought my ES.
So, how many times did you have to change your waterpump in the 'Tour? I had mine changed three times before I said enough.
So happy I made the switch.

I only changed my waterpump once, it was changing the entire transmission that made me say enough. I had a 1996 GL 2.0 auto. I did get 205,000km out of it but not without problems. I just sold it, Contours held their value about as well as the Pinto! I don't pick up my Protege until Thursday and I'm already happier with it. ('cause it's a 5-speed!)
No hard feelings IDX, thanks for the welcome
