Okay.. me again.. same stupid problem.

Stock MP5. Ran Perfect. Installed an Air Intake. Ran Perfect. 3 days later.. Idle problems. 2 days after that, Check engine light on.

Reset ECM. Removed negative cable, Brake for 45 sec. Put it back on. Started car. No check light. Let it run for 2 min. Light came back on, Idle still screwy.

Car runs awesoem.. ntohing else wrong with it.. My idle is just messed and the check engline light is always on.

Anyone else have this problem? and any other suggestions to fix this little problem?? More of a pain in the *** then anything but i am sure it has to do with the intake i put in. All the censors are installed good too.. Just no clue whatis going on.

What happened to the good old days with the 350's?! 6 Wires and you were set!!

when was the last time you had a tune up? and/or, changed your spark plugs.
try an upgrade to new plugs, ifthey don't fix yoru problem take them back and get a refund...

I am assuming your Air intake is installed correctly?
I fear your car could be losing some emissions specs range

 

OKay here is an update.

Car ran good before intake installed 2 days later trouble starts..

Brought it to a buddy, put in new plugs.. and nothing same thigns.. and NOW... When i go to start it on a warm engine, it doesnt turn over right away.. Takes almost 5-10 sec if i leave it on that long.. I have no idea WTF is going on now.
Was told intake was CORREECTLY installed, but i had NO problems until i put the stupid thing on.. any other suggestions
