Inspection Woes

Hi All.

Im from Massachusetts, here's what I ran into at the inspection station today...

First...my APC Decal on my rear window is "not legal" Huh???

Second...My Eurolite headlites are "not factory"..got to go... Umm...yeah..

Then... "Oh, I can't touch it without the front plate on the car" HAHAHA!

Next...The minimal damage to my front bumper (covered nicely by an auto bra) COULD fail my car...WHAT???

Finnaly... "Ill let your muffler go, it looks pretty solid" SOLID!!! It was professionally installed!!!! WTF!!!

Moral of this story...Keep all of your factory crap before you get inspected!

Im ok, Really...At least he was nice enough not to take my 30 freekin bucks before he told me all this

inspections = t3h suck

you should move to alabama. By the time we're required to have inspections we'll all be driving 0 emission vehicles and stuff.

yea like in maryland it gets inspected only when you buy it and if its new never.next inspection is when you sell it to the next guy and then he has to do it.if you buy it new and drive it forever and will not have to get it inspected ever unless a state trooper pulls you over because he can see somthing unsafe.I.E. light out,huge hole in your windshield,bald tires(if you not moving) there are some real junk riding around here

I wish I didn't have to get mine inspected every year. Here (NC) you can get failed for as much as your horn not working properly. Not really a worry for the mp3... but it might cause some issues with our project Jetta. The horn blows everytime you turn the steering wheel. It's like driving a clown car I swear

sounds like you have a bad clockspring if it has an airbag or its shorting somewhere in the area just behind the wheel where the contact is if it doesnot

Actually, I was able to find a down to earth, mustang driving country boy type that at first gave me doubt, but then he said, the hell with it, and put on the new sticker... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
