I'm a fellow "hauler" too - but I just couldn't take the stock audio system. I have no interest in saving my hearing - being a guitar player who used to live with two other musicians, and who used to own (and stand right next to with the volume on "10") - a Marshall stack - my hearing can either take it - or leave it!

If you'd like, click the link in my signature to see how I pump the tunes AND haul plenty of stuff at the same time.

And I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your car - there are absolutely positive reasons for keeping things stock, and I totally respect the idea.

Nice hue filter ;D it does look sharp! I didn't think of doing that to get an idea of how it might look, however I have the sedan. But it still gives me a better idea.

I'm also a "psuedo"-musician, I play guitar and piano (piano moreso, small hands suck for playing guitar). My hearing is fairly sensitive however, but that makes it worse because I can hear the screeching and awful distortion/bad cutoff/hook levels etc. I never do like stock systems, they're also always so treble oriented where I like an equal amount of both lower and higher frequency's (and I chop mids). I'm still thinking of how I want it, but I'll likely try to burry a pair of 400 watt Kicker 8"s as far as I can in the trunk to save room for a small amount of luggage. We'll see how it goes in coming months, I suppose

Looks good! But even that takes up too much room for me, I am talking seats down- completely filled. Actually, the P5 is a step down in size for me, but it was worth the sacrifice to inject a little fun into the work vehicle. If and when I put any money into the car it will be performance related, stereo is not that important to me anymore. thanks for the encouragement!

I know you said the stereo isn't that important, and I'm not trying to talk you into it at all... but there's also small subs to add a tiny bit more "punch" to it that would probably fit in the back doors. Just an idea if you so decide you do after all want to upgrade it

Are those clear side markers stock? My P5 didn't have them.

The side markers are one of the mid-year factory "upgrades"
