I've got a 2002 Protege5...been looking around and can't find this info anywhere. Is it something that MUST be done at the dealer or is it a DIY proposition.

I tried the instructions in that thread and they didn't work (like my reply to that thread stated) HENCE, the new thread. I searched the site, as well as a few other protege sites. If it's so damn simple, how come no one knows how to do it except the dealership? I'm not exactly close/conveniently located to one otherwise I'd have them do it...which is what I may have to do anyway.
