How much did you pay for your 2003?

I'm getting a P5 very soon and was wondering what you guys paid for your 2003 P5 (Cdn$)?

The dealer I went to quoted me $24,350 for a fully loaded one with the sport-matic. I want to see what you guys paid for yours so I can get an idea of how much I can talk the dealer down to.

in U.S. Dollars, In Silicon Valley California (One of the most expensive places to live in the country) after $500 College Grad Rebate I was at $16,700 before tax license and docs.

Options:
Leather
ABS/Side Impact
Sport (Tiptronic or whatever you want to call it) Automatic Tranny

I believe everything else was standard equipment.

Hey, Loco which dealer are you getting yours from ? I was just at Kramer on Macleod Tr. yesterday and test drove a 2003 laser blue. The guy said the interest rate for 60 months was 7.9% or something like that. And the base price was about 22900. Such a bad time to buy a car now..interest rates are so high.

I was just at Kramer and I'm sure they told me the 60mo. was like 4.9 or 5.9. I'm still kinda researching what kinda price I would be happy with. I want a 5spd, w/leather, maybe moonroof in red. In the states you can get leather for $490, at Kramer they told me it would be $1600 - I said whatever. From what I here the better dealership is sunridge.

We bought my girlfriends 2002 ES (GT) from Sunridge, we got $1500 off window price + $750 grad rebate + full tints and Autodimming mirror with compass and temp at cost.

$24,350 is everything before taxes.

7.9%!!!!That's higher than the banks! I went to Sunridge and the guy told me that 60 months was 4.9% and 48 months was 3.9%. I even confirmed this at Mazda.ca.

I was also considering getting leather but I can't justify spending $2000 for it. It would be nice tho. North Hill use to have one with leather with "Protege 5" (exactly like the badge) stiched in the seats...very nice!!

At first I was looking at $23,000 including tax, freight, etc....that's about $21,500 before taxes. After some thinking, I don't think I'll even come close to that price. Now I'm thinking $24,000 including tax, etc. I'm also gonna take advantage of the grad rebate.

damn those prices are high, crap, and interest rate is high too, **** 7.9% lol......with that high is interest i say no go, unless you're paying cash, if so go for it. If not better look elsewhere, or go for a 2002.

Another note, if financing, and you really want a P5, look for something similar, ive been going around / test drive (and getting some joy rides too). If i was financing i would probably go with the SiR, some may disagree but i think the rate is 4.9%, and they aren't selling well, due to their Euro-design. I prefer the P5 better, the engine doesn't sound like a tin can when pushing it, unlike honda.
