how to get started?

hey folks just wanted somebody to shoot me in the right direction. while i start upgrading my car i was interested in watching or entering in some auto x this racing year. i would be very green in this type of racing and i dont even know where to go for a race ( im in northern delaware ). i would feel better going to watch a few times rather then racing right off the start but any info would be great.

also in the off chance delaware isnt that big into the racing scene is there any way to start my own little circuit or fund a auto x chapter locally. i dont think it would be a real big issue find a parking lot or school and i could buy cones and i am a ex vol firefighter so i could pull some strings to have the fire co. bring some ems for a few hours.

Try the website for the Sports Car Club of America http://www.scca.com/. There is a lot of information for SOLO (autocross) racing. You can also google. GL with your search.
