hmmmm.....very weird man...never heard of that happening before. I suggest just tkae it to an auto body shop or a dealer to get them installed. It would be for the best. But its up to you. I got some and took it to them. It cost me 50 bucks and everything works great. But its up to you man. GOOD LUCK
