Hi I am new.

I will be getting my Protege 5 this tuesday.
It is silver and a stick.
So here is the question.
Is there a K&M filter system?
And does this help ?
Sorry for the stupied question.
Thanks all for your time and help.

You mean the K&N filter? Yes there is one. I'm not too sure of the part number. As well as the filter there is also a few Cold Air Intakes (CAIs) out there for the Protege5s and some short ram products.

You won't notice a big difference if any if you replace the filter, but it will ever so slightly help and maybe make your fuel mileage better.

Hello ZG77_OzZ, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net. There is a BIG fridge in the corner with just about anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGEALLY have. :{D

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!! :{D

Hi Ron, welcome to the board. I thought you were from somewhere in New Zealand by your nickname but then I saw the NJ.

There is a thread going in the off topic section on where everyone got their nickname from and it's kinda neat reading how everyone came up with theirs.

Hope you have a pleasant stay.
