Exclamation blah blah blah

Yeh, I get the point that the color yellow is bright---I don't know what's up with my computer, but it didn't look as bright as you guys are making it sound---anyway, enough about font, I'll talk to Karen. The End.

Ok, well, I'll toss it in there too: maybe I over-reacted, sorry for the un-welcome welcome.
Are we talking about cars yet? What was your question? I think it got lost in all the posturing, maybe we should just start over.

Yeah, let's start over. I'm Stef. I have an '03 p5 that I entered in it's first car show that's in may, so I have until may to do whatever to it. I just wanted to talk with others and see what could be done with out being over done or crossing into ricer territory. It's a stock competition, but they're not picky, so as long as I don't change my entire engine, or the shape of the car, they don't care.

I would lower it and get the windows tinted first then get new rims/wheels

Update the p-5's boring interior!
GO HERE...for JDM-P5's World Famous Write-Up!
You can paint and of course add your aftermarket CD PLayer!!
Can't say that I never helped ya! Good luck at the show!
Regards,
Phil

Red face Booyah

I want to paint stuff on the dash yellow , and I wanted to do something to the seats...but I don't know where to go to get yellow put into the seats, do you know?

What else is there to do to an interior? I'm not clueless--just, not feeling car-creative today. haha.

Depending on your budget and 1st show being not too far away, I agree with the above:
lower it, tint it and get some nice rims.
And clean it. A lot. Even when you think it's perfect, clean it some more. Especially in the places you think no one even sees, including the entire engine bay. Because those are the places judges will look.
If you have time and money, then go for spicing up the interior.
Have you gotten in touch with Karen (Phantom Cruiser) yet?
Where the hell has she been, anyway...on vacation?

Check on line for tips on getting your car ready for a show, too. One of the import mags a few months ago had a really good article on prepping your vehicle. I can't remember which one, though, sorry, but if you search, the article may be archived.

Whoaaaaaaaa. I've been busy so I missed this thread. First off, welcome to Protege Club...we aren't all that bad

Things to do: tint, drop, wheels/tires if you're so inclined ($$$), engine "dress-up" (cold air intake, hoses, wire loom, carbon fiber accents, the sky's the limit), interior (leather = $$$$), painted dash pieces, ICE (in car entertainment = $$$$$$$)... and once all this is done you'll want to lock this baby up in a garage and never let it see the light of day... hahahahah

Karen

p.s. someone did a hit-and-run on my Banana in the parking garage last week and now the hatch is dented FOCKERS
