I have a Honda before

the easliest way to disable the day time running is to remove the DRL Fuse

but i dont find any DRL fuse in the fuse box

The absolute easiest way to do it is pull your emergency brake up one notch. It's not enough to enable the hand brake but it will disable the DRL's

Nevermind Guys
I figured it out

Have to disable a wire from the hand brake

and then take the guage assembly out and disconnect the bulb

Does anyone here from Canada actually have a shop manual for these cars? I'd like to know which is the DRL relay just for interest's sake.

Yes, why would you think otherwise. Canadian vehicles have had DRLs since 1990.

Mazda is one of the few smart car manufacturers that link the DRL function to the hand brake, ie: if you're parked with the brake on while idling, the lights are off.

Ohh yeah well, I guess its just the mind state I was in last nght, and reading it, it just kinda sounded like a joke or sumthin, the Gro was talking bout pullin the e-brake up and runnin from cops and stuff. My bad.
