So is that WOMP turbo for the 2L available or what happened, is the hi boost turbo kit for the 2L the best way to go then?

The WOMP was a supercharger kit being developed by Roddimus, but it never made it to the market. As of right now, the Hi-Boost turbo kit is going to be your best friend.

the protege mp3 has a higher output 2L engine, did they do that just by air intake and exhaust? also is the 2L twin cam??? cuz it said the mp3 was but i thought it was single like the 1.6??? are 2 cams better then one?

it sounds to me like you need a better understanding of engines, forced induction and the differences.

The MP3 only had higher output because of it's ECU tuning and special intake manifold. It was only 10bhp though so not a big enough deal to worry about.

Hiboost turbos are some of the best I've ever seen. Some slight fitment issues on their FMIC upgrades for the MSP are the only problem I've ever seen out of Hiboost. Their bolt-on turbos are flat out awesome.

Juan makes one for the 1.6L that did something crazy like 380whp on the stock engine. You'll never get that from a stock bottom end on a 2.0L

I found this article very helpful when I first started getting into car modifying. It just helps you understand what happens under the hood in the case you do this or that ... you get the point.

the 1.6L zm-de and 2.0L fs-de are BOTH twin cam engines....and for the most part YES 2 cams are better than one..it usally means a better breathing engine....
