Question Good way to apply touch paint

Hi guys...

well, i washed my car the other day, and i noticed i had some paint off near my back door on the driver side.....

I would like to get some advice on touch paint.

Is there good way to do it? ....and things to avoid?

Thanks!!

one word: toothpick

or some extra-fine hobbyist paintbrush will work very nicely as well

NEVER, EVER use the big fat brush on the cap to touch up little chips and scratchs

try to just fill in the chip or scratch and none of the area around it. if possible give it a couple of coats and it will fill the void in a little and help to hide the repair.

Thumbs up good way to apply touch up paint

go to an art store and buy a feather brush i heard its the best way to put it on. also when it is completely dry i would put like 2 more coats and once thats dry wet sand it down with 2000 grit paper then put a nice coat of wax on it this will give you a smooth look... i do it to my detail cars all the time.

When you're done with the paint, use some of this stuff called Langka. It eliminates the paint buildup that's inevitable with touchup jobs. I've used it several times and have been very happy with the results !
