Last month I removed the eBay SRI that I've had on for about 2 years. If you plan on getting a replacement filter, pm me and take the old SRI off my hands. I replaced the SRI with an Injen that I bought used off eBay from someone in the Air Force.

When I replaced the SRI with the Injen, I did notice a difference in engine output. There was more low end torque, but pper range felt about the same. It was quite a be louder, too. The next day, I installed an axelback exhaust and noticed the low end drop but the upper end picked up quite a bit.

 

Is there a noticeable difference when changing from a paper cone filter to the foam oiled filter? I would think there's plenty of surface area, so the material woudn't make much of a difference in restriction....
