Did not recieve Touch-up paint with survey
I never received a bottle of touch-up paint with my dealer survey. Should I have, or does that come later? It has been a month since I purchased the car.

from what I have seen/heard from others on the forum...not EVERYONE got a bottle of touchup paint in their "welcome" box.....I did....and it was mailed to my home directly and I recieved it about two months after we got the cars. Others have gotten the welcome box as well but it didn't contain any touch up paint....I am not sure, nor do I remember, if this was mailed to me by my dealer or from mazda directly.....its just been too long ago. HOWEVER, some people got the paint and others didn't.

I bought my car in March, and didn't recieve any survey or welcome kit. In early August I complained to Mazda about it via MyMazda.com, and they said they would send me one. I recieved a survey a few weeks ago, but still no welcome kit.
It's not really a big deal, but Mazda should get their act together or just not bother sending these kits out at all.

I guess it must be either a US dealer thing or a MadzaUSA thing as I did not receive any welcome kit. I did get some touch up paint but I asked for that when I bought. I also recently found out that there were CDs available of the zoom-zoom song. Not a big deal but it is the whole song (such that it is). I got one from a dealer at a Regional meet we recently had and I blast it every so often with my moon roof open. Kinda gets peoples heads turning .
As for the survey I got one of those when I picked up my car and filled it out and mailed it in. Last I heard of it.

The first thing I got was a survey about the salesman and dealership. That took about a month to get to me. 2 months after I got the car I got the welcome kit. The kit doesn't come with touch up paint. It comes with a survey. The survey says once you send it in you will get touch up paint. Its been about 2 weeks since I sent the survey in and I don't have the paint yet. I guess you just have to be patient they are a little slow.

I got nothing at all with my car hehe...absolutely nothing
i did get some touchup paint....that was a month later when we went back to the dealer and requested for some, and they gave it free of charge
Also I was supposed to by a base model DX trim level protege, 1.6L engine, with a biege color,
but what happened was that our old 626 broke down about a week after ordering the car, so we had no car, and they said it would take 1 - 2 months for delivery, but we kept on pushing hehe, so they had a LX (ES american) 1.8L touring edition sitting in the parking lot, and the dealership gave us the keys to it and basically said, take it
and we only payed the same price as the DX model
so all in all we got a better car hehe, with the touring edition package
but still no survey or any of that stuff
