I getting my car very soon, at the end of July. I'm waiting to gather more money, so I would only owe the bank $3'000 and then the car will be paid off and it's mine. I HATE CAR PAYMENTS! THANK FOR RUBBING IT IN!

As one of the older guys here I just don't see the fascination with it, must be for the younger crowd

I agree with you on the hood AND the wing. I might even go so far as to say it looks like ***...if I were so inclined

But hey, what ever floats you boad.

To me the all black look in a hood means you wrecked your ride & can't afford to paint it yet. Maybe if you painted the CF the same color it wouldn't be as bad.

Just my 2 cents

$795? ouch! It looks awesome and all, but the fact is, its a CF hood, thus easily to break off of latch and steal any/all engine mods you have. I am getting a CF hood when I paint my accord Civic Si blue, but what are they gonna do steal my internals? Even though the CF hood looks awesome, especially on your car, you need to look at the risk you are taking with it. Regular CF hoods which latch the same way retail around $399 here, and the weight difference doesnt actually make a true "difference" in performance. CF hoods kicked off really good for a while, and after everybody realized how easy it was to pop the latch on one they went back to OEM Just something to think about, it does look awesome on your car

But, don't you like the way real carbon fiber hood looks when it's in the sun. It's shinny and 3 dimensional looking, I love it. Will I like it on some cars.

Nope. That black CF look is right up there with those giant roof top wings, lighted exhaust tips & colored tire treatments

I agree, there is no true fascination with the hood, I am getting it for my accord because its cheaper than buying an OEM hood and painting it (hood is messed up from when the kid undid my lugnuts). I plan on rigging a lock to the hood however, so you can't break into it. If you ever get a CF hood and are too lazy to walk to your release latch, just slam down on the front of the hood where the latch is It pops up.

Yep, I think CF looks like *** too. It just so tacky, and rice looking, and doesn't fit with any car. You see this nice car that has good looking lines, and a sweet body, then you get to the hood, and its like WTF?!?!

DOWN WITH CARBON FIBER ITS WAAAAYYY PLAYED OUT YO

I too don;t usually like the look of CF hoods, but that looks good IMO.
What does it weight, and what does the stock hood weigh?
