Dent in my 2003.5

After washing my car this past week i noticed a dent in my drivers door. Obviously some careless person had opened their door into mine. There was still purple paint on it!

The dent is not very deep and the paint is not cracked or chipped, is their any way a body shop can "pull" out the dent? It sux because i can see it every time i get in/out of my car and its really buggin me.

thanks as always

same thing happened to my protege
some idiot hit my back right door
small dent, with blue remains on it

What ******** are they out there

The way I managed to keep my car dent-free
is by parking at the end of the parking lots or
but leaving no less than one 1 inch gap between the crub
and the tires

Look in the yellow pages for "Dent King" or something similar ("Ding Doctor", etc) - if you don't see anything, call any body shop.

This is for "paintless dent removal" - should be between $50 and $75 USD. As long as there is no paint damage, they can push that ding out and you'll never know it was there.

I've had it done 3 times on my P5 already - and I have another one to get done when I get around to it.

Don't buy the "Ding King."
I has already been proven by Car and Driver Magazine that it is not very useful.

The same thing happened to me.
There is a small but not very visible dent on my right side front door, it's on the upper part.
I have then decided never park my car next to any SUV or truck.

I think he is talking about a place like Dent Wizards we have around here. They go in behind the dent with some tools and basically push the dent oout from behind...no drilling, sanding, painting req'd. Its great and my car is gettin done again this summer.

I feel your pain! I just found a fresh dent in my LR door, right at the crease where the door starts to curve in at the top. Big scrape of "suburbia SUV beige" right in the middle. Sticks out like a sore thumb on the white.

Go to Autocosmetic in Bramton (Dixie & Steeles). I had a dent the size of a looney and the guy (Andrew) got it out like it was never even there. They work out the dent from inside the door. It's $100 cash flat for anything the size of a looney or smaller. Amazing work!

Sorry to hear that, it just plain sucks. No matter what you do some a**hole in a dirty ford pickup will open the door into your car. Even if you park all the way at the end of the lot, he will be there to do damage. Hats off to those a**holes. I think those people own body shops.
