Cruise Control for 2001 LX
Hey people, I'm a new member of the protege owner family...
I live in Toronto, Ontario and I picked up a 2001 Protege LX in April and I love this car!
The one thing that I wasn't able to get with this model was the
cruise control, which was only available in the ES edition. I honestly thought that wasn't right!
I've been talking with my contact at the dealership and he told me that there is a lot of work involved with putting cruise in the car. He explained it to me and I figured there has to be an easier way to do it than he mentioned.
Do any of you know how I can do it the easiest way.
Can you help me?
Thanks!

Yeah, I think I'll look around for a shop and see what they can do for me... I'm not sure if it's something that I can do myself.. but it's probably better left for someone who knows what they're doing.
I would have like to get an ES model, but the price jumps up considerably once you get into the ES. I already had to pay twice for air, cause I got the sun sport package.. (spoiler, sunroof)
I still would have wanted the 4 wheel disc and antilock brakes, and the 16" alloy rims...
.... I couldn't stretch the budget any further!
Thanks for the reply!!
