Angry CHECK This One OUT ! ! !

I have a Antifreeze smell coming from the front of my ride , took it in and they came up with some **** that I had a small oil leak on top of my turbo ! Well I never saw it but they said they fixed it anyway and the smell of the antifreeze... , BUT HELL NO ! , they didn't do **** ! ! !

Now its 12/15 and its back in the shop to get my bushing and my shifterknob and flash it , check on the damn smell again. 12/16 Well it took them all day to do this. Got the flash and the bushing , but no **** The flashing did ok and I feel the deferents in the ride with both!

Now for the leak/smell ? They said they did find a leak but it was a fitting leak on top of the turbo... an OIL LEAK they have to send of for another fitting plus the shifter ****. AGAIN

If there is a leak on/near the trubo it could be your coolant also. The turbo on the MSP is oil and coolant cooled. After the motor is shut off if there is excessive heat it creates a syphon and pulls coolant through it to cool it off. What you need to do is wait until the car is cool and take a black light and shine it all under the hood and look for dried coolant. It's pretty easy to see in daytime, but a blacklight works really well in showing off leaks.

OK , I hear ya Roddimus Prime & I do have a blacklight I was gonna put perm. under the hood anyway. So I guess I will go-a-head and do it !

And Now I don't drive my car hard... ! Yet ! ! ! About the most I have done is spin the wheels not much off a jump and won of course ! Didn't go more than an 1/8 mile then drove about 4-5 miles home. Other than that I baby the damn thing trying to save gas ! But I still get the smell every time I stop no matter how short or how far , how mellow or how hard I drive the damn thing ! ! ! !

Cosmos420 Man I know what your saying me too , but what they rip me for when I bought the thing . I'm not letting them slide with **** ! ! !

i just bought a 2003.5 mazdaspeed lazer blue protege and i have had no problems, but i will be watching for that smell. so far i love the car, it is so much fun to drive. it is bone stock right now but i was wondering if anybody knows of where i can get a front mount intercooler and a cold air intake for the car. i have been having trouble finding a company that sells them for the MSP. i also need a boost controller and turbotimer. if you know any companys that do sell intakes or front mount intercoolers for the MSP please replay to MazSpeed_13, thanks

IF you guys want you can go and get an over sized intercooler and find some one to bend your pipes for you its nice. One of the sales guys where i bought my car from has a pipe bender then and gets the color to match your car if you want. Its cheaper then buying a kit. Go to Caddyperformance.com He will custom bend you pipes he does caddilacs but he will do our cars and will make intakes if you want
