Car Alarm For P5

I was thinking of getting this remote start/ car alarm set from ebay when i get my P5http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...tem=1809623389

Does anyone recommend it, or does it suck

MY FRIEND HAS SOMTHING LIKE THAT ON HIS "GATOR" IF ITS ANTHING LIKE HIS ID GET IT ..THE PAGER IS A PLUS (NEXT ALARM I GET)

Out of all the 2-way paging alarm systems, this is the best one...


The Compustar Spread Spectrum with up to 1.25 miles of reach. It uses 900mhz and it actually works!

Anybody know about the Aladdin A-2000 alarms???? How good do they work and are they a decent brand???

When it comes to 2-way security systems, nothing is better than the Compustar. The Aladdin looks and feels cheap in comparison. DEI is coming out with a 2-way in late October, but it still years behind the Compustar. Their system only transmits up to 1/2 mile range. None of them (if I remember correctly) do not have illuminated display, try looking at your phone at night and youll see what I mean. If I'am not mistaken the Compustar will start at $400 installed without a car starter and maybe about $600 with a car starter.

Thanks for the info... I was just wondering cuz I came across a deal for the Aladdin for like $235 shipped so I was just wonderin if it was even worth getting...

One thing i wish my alarm had was some kind of pager system. An alarm is kinda useless unless you can be notified if someone is messin with ur ride. And the only way i find out if something happened to or is happining to my car is if i hear it, which works fine if im OUTSIDE within a 100ft radius of it .

I got a Viper 550 ESP in my Honda CR-V (dont laugh, family vehicle) and I can't start it from inside my work building. And if I try I do not have an idea if it even started. The Compustar will tell you if it started or not.
