CAI in cold weather

I just purchased my MSP about 3 weeks ago. And I love it! But to the point, I installed a front mount intercooler and an injen CAI and there was very noticeable power increases. But now that its getting colder I have a HUGE hesitation and around 4000 rpms, could this problem be related to the CAI and the denser air?
any other ideas let me know!!! By the way the temp in WI is around 30-40 degrees
thanks!!!!!

Just my 2 cents, first check to make sure there is no cracks in any of the rubber peaces, or the vacume lines. Reading about these Ive seen it happen a few times.

Thats weird though, you say its getting colder which would cause denser air and a leaner air/fuel mixture, but the problem came with the colder air? I just think thats kind of weird because im always adjusting my air/fuel mixture on my dirtbike with the weather, but maybe the "code" is right!
