Cold weather clutch question.

Cold weather clutch question.
Ok, here's the beef. Does everyone's clutch pedal become very gluey when the weather drops below -30° C? My pedal is tough to push in (even when car is plugged in, not sure if block heater helps) and the pedal releases very slowly. What's the deal, Remington Steele? Is it the fluid or what?

The block heater only heats the coolant, so it won't heat up the fluids. Totally normal. The hydraulic fluid will congeal at those temps. Brr. Is it warming up there yet? We started to warm up a little today finally. -30 in March. That's just not right.
BTW - how did the wOOx thing go - I see you added it in your sig. Are you happy with the results?
Dale.

It went bang on. I am actually pulling the seat out again this weekend to change a bolt on the seat. you weren't kidding when you said it would be a tight squeeze to get the woox in, another 1/2 in and no dice. It added just the right amount of low end oomph, though I wish it could pick up the mid-sub freqs a little better. I am upgrading speakers this weekend, hopefully they help a bit. Thanks again for the info. You should see the slick setup I used for the power wire.

Let me know which speakers you use in the front, and how you like them. I still have the stock speakers in the doors. While I think the tonal balance is really good with them and the woox, I would like to get more high end enxtension and clarity that would come with a higher quality speaker. I agree that It would be nice if the woox gave a little more mid bass, but what are you going to do? I leave the crossover at 60 Hz because I think it gets way too boomy at any of the other crossover frequencies, but that's just me
