Break-in repair.

Hi P5ers,

My P5 was broken into last week, it happened overnight in my underground parking garage. The degenerates broke the rear half window and unlocked the car from there.

Anyway, they rifled through my CDs but didn't take a single thing (looking for money, I guess, and didn't like my taste in music). Aside from the broken window and a small brown stain on the passenger seat (where did that come from?), the car wasn't otherwise vandalised.

Just thought that I would share a positive experience with Boyd Autoglass / Anvil in Vancouver. Called them 9 am on Monday, dropped my car off at 12 pm, and it was ready for me by 4 pm. The glass cost 30$, the belt moulding cost 28$, the labour was 80$, and total with tax was 160$. I also called my dealer, and they quoted approx. 200$.

What is everyone using for security?

Smith and Wesson.

Sorry to hear about the break in. Some people have no respect and we would all be better off with them removed from the planet.

Queensland Heeler (like Mad Max had)!

That sucks about your car, all thieves should be strung up! I bet the stain is where the rock landed, or maybe it's a footprint.

I have always heard good things about DEI alarms. DEI makes the alarms for Viper, among others. I'm pretty sure they're the best.
