Boost problems

I have a manual boost controller on my MPS and later I find out that factory will not allow over 10 psi. Even well before 10psi I still have cut-out problems. I discovered a product on the web joepmbc.com who makes a fuel cut defenser claiming to allow over the 10 psi of boost. Anyone out there try this product?? Also I have been told that the MSP in know to run rich, killing power while under boost. The same company claims to make a fuel pressure reduction kit. Any additional comments?? I also heard that Mazda has been re-flashing ECU's?? Has that helped anyone??

I don't know anything about the fuel cut defenser and the fuel pressure reduction kit. But I do know the ECU flash made mine drive ALOT smoother. No more jerking in low rpm's. Glad to help
I was thinking about putting a boost controller on mine. What kinda difference does it make?

From what most people say..the reflashing helps allot..but it's more dangerous to run higher..boost b/c mazda bumped up the timing to rid most of the hesitation!

About the fcd...i have heard many diff stories...that it works..and that it don't...but for the price you can't go wrong!

Putting a boost controller on it made a big difference. Be cautious and make sure you have a boost gauge. In warmer weather I would dare to put it up to 10 psi and in colder weather like 40 degrees lower I keep it around 7 or 8 psi. I will let everyone know if the fuel cut defenser kit works out for me from joepmbc.com After boost controller put on, cold air intake, 3 inch exhaust I ran high 14's in the 1/4 mile. Thats better than 16's stock. Thanks guys for the info.!!!
