Talking Another New Guy

I am now a proud owner of a 2002 MP5 (gotta love the 0% interest). She's silver, but after seeing MP5's belonging to other's, it seems a rather popular color (doh!).

Anyway, I bought it as a replacement to my '96 Escort LX sedan(primarily a 1st gen Pro chassis) that decided to drop a valve seat and chew the engine. I have to say, this car is so much better than the 'scort -- power, handling, and appearance. I think she'll do well on the auto-x course and Road Atlanta.

Hey, Jesse (PseudoRealityX), I'm glad to see a familiar face (eh, name?) here. I know ya from the EGT yahoo list and met you at an Atlanta region auto-x about a month or so ago.

BTW, does anyone know under which stock class the MP5 falls? The SCCA rules have been down for a while due to updating.

Menace....its YOUR month to clean the fridge...so if there is anything in there with green stuff growing on it.....its YOUR fault! lol

kcbhiw, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

The only thing I ask in return is that you keep the beers (cokes) cold and the garage clean hehe.

If it weren't for lists like this, I wouldn't know nearly as much as I do now.

Hopefully I'll see some of you guys on the track in the southeast sometime.

The only mods I'll probably do, if ever, are handling upgrades. For the time being, it'll stay stock so that I can run in the stock category in Solo II. Auto-X should me a lot more fun now; I'm going from an 88hp automatic Escort to a 130hp manual MP5 .
