i got some paint from the bodyshop that repainted my bumper(tapped an suv in july)...and i used an airbrush gun to get it on there, then i clearcoated it with like 6 layers, then put it back on...
i did the top strip of my grill too, then i waxed that part.ill get grill pics soon.

Question Paint?

Now how much paint are we talking about? Is it like a touchup paint bottle, or did you get more than that?

the "blue" in my sig refers to my car color, not my taillights...

it was a touch up bottle, i just funneled it into a airbrush bottle, and painted away

Wow, wow and more wow. I like that lots. I actually saw this cover on an MP3 a couple weekends ago and I thought I could get one for my P5. I just checked with my dealer and no problems it is available. I would assume that it would line up with the holes in my existing valve cover. Of course mine would have to be red to match the rest of my stuff.

By the way, that braided hose I see there, that is not standard is it? And if you installed, is it a real one or the cover type?

the cover you want would need the top piece from a msp, or mp3...the p5 valve cover dont have the studs for the plastic cover...anyhow, the stainless stuff is the sleeves, i just slipped them on.

I'll get my parts guy to fax me the drawing for the MP# so I can figure out what I need.

As for those braided hoses, I think I might do that as I think it looks better than the coloured stuff. People are already saying I have too much red on my car and now looks like mustard and Ketchup.

Oh the red on your bolts for the heat shield, are those caps or did you just paint them red?
