3rd Gen

I need to remove the fog light off my 3rd GEN tonight, can anyone tell me which screws, nuts, bolts I need to remove. I do not have a P5 nor a MP3, I have a stock 3rd Gen Sedan 2001 Protege ES with the GT sport package. Your help is greatly appreciated. I have already tried to remove the one 10" bolt from underneath the bumper, but it only allows me to move the fog light vertically, it does not allow me to remove it completely.

THANKS FOR THE HELP, MY FOG LIGHT WAS HIT WITH A ROCK, MADE A BIG HOLE, AND SINCE IT WAS RAINING THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS, I had to change it fast, thanks for the help.

Why do you want to remove the fog lights?
Anyways to remove them, after taking out the screw that allows you to move vertically, use a flat head screw driver and gently pry the side of the fog light closest to the center of the car outwards away from the car. after that side pops out, do the same on the other side of the fog light. remember to do it gently so you don't ruin the paint or the plastic mounts that hold the fog lights in. ilearned the hard way. hope that helps you.
