1st Stick Mod Has Arrived!

We're putting in the Kartboy shifter now..

Is anyone else using this shifter? If so, your thoughts on it???

Karen, did you guys get the combo? if not...you SHOULD HAVE! LOL

hope you like it...its a very good piece. you will love the new feel.

I personally have the B&M.....but I have installed the bushings. and they alone make a huge difference. You will love your new shifter.

Yeah..we got the PACKAGE and it kicks ***! Much better than the sloppy stock shifter.

Now, time for the 'other' stick mods...

Kinda off topic, would the short shifter work for the 1.6l's tranny?

TWM, B&M, or Kartboy? Which short shifter is the best? I already have the Kartboy bushings and they're great so I might just go ahead and buy the Kartboy short shifter.

welcome to the forum! Sir Nuke will be on his way shortly to welcome you formally...

The shifter bushings replace the stock bushings to provide a less soft/mushy feeling when shifting gears. I noticed a significant difference after installing the kartboy bushings, the shifter now feels sportier and it almost feels like I'm "clicking" in to gears (almost, but not quite). Its worth it!

forgot to mention that they are very easy to install... I haven't personally installed the short shifter so I can't comment on that.
