01 Protege LX wiring expert?

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone who knows wiring in general in the San Diego area might be willing and able to help me out with something on my wife's 01 Protege. I recently replaced her after-market (Micro) keyless entry system with a different model, because one of her remotes died and the other wasn't working very well. It's all hooked up, but there is a wire that hooks into the horn that makes it chirp when you lock/unlock, and I haven't been able to find the horn wire in the steering column's wiring harness. Granted, I don't really know all that well what I'm doing... 5.gif Also, the company from which I bought the new system also threw in a domelight supervision relay, which will make the inside light turn on when she unlocks the car. However, I have no idea how to wire that up, either. The car is a 2001 Protege LX, 1.6L, automatic.

Any takers? I'm willing to pay for your time and/or buy food!

Thanks!

if you do some research on here...there are some threads on all the correct wires to hook up an aftermarket alarm system and their corresponding colors....

I suggest checking this out before giving up and having someone else do it....
