It can't hurt - and the money is already spent...

Okay!
here is what i did accomplish:

Timing belt
Waterpump
UD Pulley

Header
Inpsected the first cat
Installed MIL eliminator
Oil change

I didn't recieve the motor mounts in time to do those - and it makes more sense to have the intake off first... i also still need to clean the EGR and replace the tranny fluid. So it became a two-stage process.

Impressions:
Electric impact wrench made the header work and pulley removal a breeze... Gotta' love that PB Blaster stuff!

Timing belt took two people (my lovley wife needed to hold the intake cam to get the marks to line up (i didn't do the TDC - i just marked where they were). The spring loaded cam didn't want to stay where it needed to be).

Not a big change. She pulls a little harder in the mid range and top end. No Drama.

Not noticably louder.

No slipping with the Gates belts/UD pulley.
No CEL so far...

Summary:
If i had not gotten the UD pulley and header so cheap (~$150 for both ) i would be really disapointed.

I gotta' do the mounts - there is evidence of the main mount worn/partially separated.

(gotta' update muh sig! yeah!)
