AEM, INJEN or RActive wich one is the best.

I want feedbacks plz. Performance, sound..

I don't know which one is better, however I have the AEM. I don't believe any of us have done before and after dynos of our cars. As for performance who knows? I know that with my AEM intake the car has a much meanier growl and throttle response is much better. The intake was very easy to install, kit was very complete (no runs to the store to get extra parts), and the company has a great reputation. Its really a personnal opinion in my case. I bought the AEM because I had already had experience with them in my civic and a friends integra. Their products are top-notch.

I've got the injen CAI in my 2001 LX 2.0 I'd have to imagine it wasn't very difficult to install seeing as my mechanic charged me a whopping $45 to put it in (I'm not very mechanical outside of computers.) There is a definate notice in the sound of the engine, and the car does seem quicker. I couldn't tell you definately what's the best to go with, however I'll be changing my flywheel next, that will put more of the added power to the wheel. From my understanding is that all of the intakes are going to give you around the same performance gain, so my advice is take a look at the prices and go with the one you feel more comfortable shelling out the cash for. They're all reputable companies so they'll stand by their product

For the intake, my first choice is the AEM!!!

The INJEN look great but it's very expensive 540$cd tx in vs 300$cd for the AEM

For sure the RActive is the cheapest, by I'm not sure about is quality.


Is anyone have a DYNO for a intake on a Mazda Protege

CAI is the way to go for future mods. I have a Injen with an AEM bypass and paid $250 US. I also made a scoop under the fender to bring more air to the filter and made sure to mount a cover inside the fender well to divert the water away from the filter. I can not imagine another that works better
