Where'd you buy your exhaust?

I'm looking for the best price on the Magnaflow cat back for my '03 Sedan. Best price I've found so far is $395 shipped from hottexhaust.com - anyone know where to get a better price? I've checked all the vendors here and run searches. Some people can gotten some amazing deals. Please help.

Hey, Im kind of interested in either the Magnaflow or Borla, and for that, 395 seems pretty good, I myself havent found any better. What headers are you planning to run? I'm thinking OBX header with one of the cat-backs I mentioned. Have you happened to have found any sound clips of that exhaust? If so, please post them, I'd really like to hear, if not and you get it, you gotta post one for me!
Thanks

Magnaflow exhaust

Yeah, I found one or two sound clips on MSProtege.com but I can't find them anymore! About the headers - OBX sounds like the way to go unless you've got a ton of money and can afford the AWR piece. I'm still in warranty so only thinking about the cat back. But if I do get it I'll sure try to post a clip. Good luck. Anyone else with prices or places to get this exhaust?

If you are pinching pennies, you can do what i did. Buy yourself a muffler and have a good muffler shop make your cat-back. I bought an OBX mufffler off ebay and it sounds incredible. It isn't raspy at all, real deep and in an echoey area it sounds like thunder when it starts up. I got my whole cat-back done for like 160 this way (including muffler). Otherwise don't expect to get a borla cat-back under 500 shipped I could never find one anywhere under that, 395 sounds good for magnaflow as well.

Custom exhaust

Good point about going the custom route and saving money. I've done this on several of my previous cars. I'm just worried about fitment, rattling, longevity, sound, etc. Unless you've got someone local who does really good work, it seems you're better off going the off-the-shelf route. Right now I'm just trying to get all the information. Thanks.

I have not used this product but the price can't be beat for wehat you get...

Corksport Power Series exhaust is a midpipe AND catback and there is a GB for them going right now for $350+shipping.

pm our new member "Rogue Pro5" for more info.

Corksport exhaust

Thanks for the info. I've been following the thread for a few days now. I'd go with the Corksport if it didn't eliminate the 2nd cat. I don't want a hassle about this if and when I go in for warranty work. It's an awesome price, though.

LOL I've had my exhaust for so long I can no longer remember where I got it or how much it cost!

Or maybe it's just old-timers disease

How is the corksport? Ive seen it a lot, seems like a fair amount of poeple have it althoguh I havent heard much on the product itself. I was considering it as a third option and I wouldnt mind about the cat since Im planning on getting the OBX header anyway. So any opinions on it would be great!
(sorry if Im thread jacking...)
