well it really depends on what kind of power your looking for and how much you wanna spend. i would defanitely get a 2.5" thermal exhaust from flyin miata. check out www.srmotorsports.com bc they have a clutch and 9lb. flywheel, which are both things i would do before turbo. the stock clutch will most likely slip with that kind of power and torque. those are the only things i would defanitely upgrade before the turbo. after getting the turbo, i would look into some type of fuel management. tuning the turbo with somethin like haltech e6k, greddy e-manage, or tec 2 or 3 would be a really good idea.

High flow fuel pump and bigger injectors will most likely be needed as well.

Unless your removing the facotry pre-cat a 2.5" exhuast wont to any better then a 2.25".
Replacing the clutch is easier since you don't have to remove all the intake tubes and such plus the factory clutch won't hold for long.
Any kit worth a damn will have the hardware you need for the turbo so no worries there.
Spoolin or FM are the best I know of.
