Thats what I've been saying or trying to say ever sense this hole thing started! But dang, I would hate to be the one to pay 600.00 for a set of cams that don't produce. Know what I mean. What would be nice is if Wagner would let some one that is trusted on the forums to give a down payment and give him he cams for testing. If they come out as stated with a 24.6 hp gain than the rest of the money is due, if not and they only give 10-18 than you could return them or settle for half price.

the reason i posted the dyno results in the first place were to placate the people who were saying that at 161whp, the p5 should be as fast if not faster than the msp. this is simply not the case. the 150whp that a stock msp puts down is on a dynojet dyno. from parallels drawn between this dyno and the dynojet, i would assume the msp stock will get about 180whp stock.

I just spoke with DaveB tonight and he told me that he's spoken with Wagner a few times about these cams and he's seriously considering buying these and "biting the bullet" for the rest of us.

I agree. I think what the person meant was that "all things equal" a 161whp NA P5 and a 161whp MSP is that the P5 would be faster. I don't think they were saying 161whp on one dyno vs. 161whp on another dyno..

That would be great, hell Id through 20.00 bucks in to help with the perchace. The only thing I would ask in return is some polished rings! I got the brushed because I like that look, but I forgot the rest of my car is chrome! LOL OPPS!

come on now you guys you know what I meant when I was saying that the 161 whp should be fatser than a stock msp given that they were tested on the same dyno and the cams still pulled out 161 to the wheels.Because I do not think that a stock MSP will turn out 161 to the wheels in stock form. But if you still dont believe in what I am saying then I have a chilling story that I can tell about a night at the strip(I have witnesses). I am simply saying that if these numbers are real then it should be pulling more WHP than a MSP, But if the MSP's are rated at the wheels to have 170hp then the gold goes to the MSP. I may go ahead and buy them after I pay this loan off. And if a MSP only has a 9hp drivetrain power loss than that is a damn good drivetrain! I have never seen a car only loose 9hp through the drivetrain. Here is the dyno sheets of a MSP and it is way below 170whp. But let us not loose track of what I am saying, if the Wagner cams turned out 161 on this dyno too, then the MSP would loose this test.

Man we just have to wait and see. Hell I almost wouldn't sell them because of all of the crap going around. But I can tell you this, if those things do put the hp to the car I think it would be a very close race. My car feels a lot quicker now and if I could get an extra 24 ponys out of it, well lets just say that I've driven a stock MSP finally and I think I would win.

sorry, DaveB HAS purchased them and is waiting for their arrival. I also spoke in great length with Andy tonight and have a lot of good news.

He can custom grind anything you want. If you have specs you want ground just let him know....he'll make it. He's putting these cams together in a NA package...it will include CAI, Header and cams.

I mentioned to him about running another GB on these cams and his response was...."anytime you want".

I actually will not be waiting for dyno's to purchase some. As soon as i get the money together to order them I will. Dave should have his in within another 3 weeks or so. Hopefully he will have them dyno'd asap.

I will be posting a new Wagner Cams GB thread as soon as Dave's dyno's are posted or mine (whichever comes first).

Anything that promotes more air into and out of the engine is good. So in this case yet they would be very good for the WOMP

Will these cams work with the 1.8? I already have the AWR header, AEM SRI and a custom 2.25" SS headerback exhaust, I can just see the look on some of the honda boys around here when my unassuming Pro leaves em in the dust. Wow! Let me know thanks Nik
