hey .. did you even read my post?

I got sick of looking at it everyday thinking that some guy in Alabama has $1700 of my money and he could just be laughing his *** off at me and spending it.
I was bragging to everyone that I was getting the first ever supercharged protege in the state. then after the first few months they all started laughing at me. Telling me that I got ripped off. I fought and defended Matt telling them everything he was telling us. "The companies kept screwing us over." "Some other guy (Wagner) Didnt deliver product" etc etc. For over a year I tried to redeem him. Even my parents were like "Wtf? Why did you give that much money to someone you don't even know?" Yes, they actually said What the ****.

Now imagine how that feels for a second. You have this slow *** car. You always knew it was slow. Then someone tells you he has this kit ALREADY put together .. it just needs to be tested. I scrape together some money, I even pay the extra 3% because he complains about the paypal fees and what not.

Amount: $1,751.00 USD
Mar. 21, 2005 Charge From Credit Card Completed $1,751.00 USD

I see that everytime I log into my hotmail. Its been a year and 3 months since I sent off that money.

Yes, in the begining I begged to be one of the testers so I could get a better price.
Yes, I flipped out with every delay. Its alot of money to trust to someone 6000 miles away.

Now, to think that everyone was right. That some guy in Alabama just ripped me off and I was so stupid to belive him.. It really makes me HATE that damn car.

So, what was your question? Why did I sell the car so easily? It should be pretty damned obvious. How about you send me $2000 for nothing. I'll pay you back, I swear.

I believe you are mistaken and I checked this on my protege. The ac compressor kicks on with the switch off, but the dial in the following positions:

Defrost, Defrost and Feet, and Feet. The only positions that it does not kick on is on upper vent and feet, and upper vent.

If the temperature dial is set all the way to hot, it still cycles the AC compressor on and off.

OT. So no more pro?
Sucks man you were one of the few 1.6ers. You know we had at least one thing in common: a belief in the 1.6l...

Nice. I know exactly what you mean. My summer "fun" vehicle has 356 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. It's a lotta fun.

Right. Fuel economy is over-rated. It's the fun-factor that really counts!

Well its been nearly 2 months since Roddimus has surfaced. Has anyone heard anything from him? Or do we put him with the likes of perfworks and wagner?

Haas anyone talked to him outside the forum? If so, what is going on with the womp kit? Someone call Matty and ask him will it ever come out.
