Unhappy UDP belt squeal

I have an R-R UDP and Dayco belts (could be all of the problem). I have them pretty tight, but on cold days when I have my lights on I get a squeal. I can still twist the belt a little. I don't want to over tighten them. Any suggestions?

That's what I was thinking. How tight on these Proteges?

the should be less than 1" of deflection on the longest side of the belt.

Was it worth it as a mod? Did it yield 'noticable' results? Do the lights dim under big bass beats now?

I have been holding off on this one until some says it is worth it...

It's an okay mod. No charging issues yet.

Ha ha...man...i hate it when the lights dim out because of heavy bass. Oh well. Yeah Matt, you might want to change out that belt bud.

What about the a/c compressor? Any noticeable difference in cold air output? I'm in FL, reason I ask.

Gates green stripes fixed it.
