turo kit or engine swap

which would be more cost efficient and give u more power? dropping a turbo kit and getting a tranny upgrade with exhaust or putting in an engine like a taurus sho?

There is no engine swap for our cars that is even remotely easy or worthwhile. There's several turbo kits available now, starting at about $2500 for the non-intercooled Wagner kit. Do some searches and read some of the older posts in the 3rd Gen section, there's lots of good info already out there.

Couldn't you swap the turbo mazdaspeed into another 3rd gen?

Would the cost be worth it compared to a turbo kit?

mazdaspeed turbo kit isn't known as the "best bang for the buck" when it comes to turbo's.

Also, I did try to swap an SHO motor into a MSP. It would be a Frankenstien of a ride but with the amount of frame cutting, fender cutting, transmission modifications, it wouldn't be worth it.

Also, I'm hoping to have a supercharger kit for the 3rd gens available shortly after September.

What about the FSZE motor? I've been thinking of doing either the turbo/supercharger with an AEM EMS or just popping in the ZE with an AEM EMS.

Never mind, "did the search, found the answer."
