Stupid question concerning cat-back systems

I have a quick question concerning cat-back exhaust systems. Does this mean it replaces the exhaust system behind the cat converter, leaving it in place? Or, does I have to reomove my cat converter? I am referring to the Racing Beat cat-back system....

http://www.racingbeat.com/FRprotege.htm

Thanks for your help!!

the Racing Beat cat-back exhaust replaces all the piping and the muffler AFTER the catalytic converter, which means the stock catalytic converter is not moved and stays in place

welcome to the club

That's why it's called a CAT-BACK exhaust.

Remember, grasshoppers, that the only stupid question is the one left unasked.
:endmrmagivoice:

(Actually, I didn't know that's where it came from either )
