stupid question

ok... this is reall dumb but i would like to know... will the 01-03 carbon fiber hood fit on a 99-00 car?? and if not does anyone know where i can maybe get one for my 2000??

i'm asking b/c fiber images has 00-03 on their hoods... and i was just making sure it would fit b/c i am thinking about getting one

That's a very good question. The only issue would be the shape of the top of the headlights. And comparing them, they do look very similar where the headlight meets the hood. I don't know for a fact but my guess would be that it would work.

One the hood might not shut all the way or other option you might have a small gap between the lights.

no, its not a direct bolt on....the shape of your headlights are different.....

This is true. However, it is a possibility that, while they changed the front fenders and bumpers to accomodate the new headlights between 00 and 01, they may have designed the new headlights to carry the same profile at the hood. It would mean one less body panel to change.

If you know for a fact that this is not the case, then I'll stand corrected, but it looks pretty close to me.
